Job summary

Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive commercial strategies and grow corporate, leisure, group and events business in Sydney. You will work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to secure new opportunities and build lasting client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in business development or hotel sales.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality market and client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, group and events segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, agencies and local businesses.
• Conduct client visits, sales calls, presentations, site inspections and networking activities.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities.
• Contribute to achieving and exceeding revenue, occupancy and business development targets.
