PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts in Sydney CBD seeks an experienced Business Development Executive to win new business, grow client relationships, and convert opportunities into hotel revenue. You will report to the Director of Sales and engage with key market segments across rooms, F&B and event spaces.

The ideal candidate brings hospitality sales experience, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or tourism sales preferred.
• Results-oriented and driven individual.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Ability to build long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across key market segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Manage incoming leads and enquiries, progressing them through to confirmed bookings.
• Prepare compelling proposals, contracts, and tailored sales communications.
• Conduct professional hotel site inspections for prospective clients.
• Sell rooms, food and beverage, event space, and other hotel services, including cross-selling group properties.
• Support client negotiations, follow-up activity, and deal closure to achieve revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate client, account, and sales activity records in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and inform sales tactics.
• Represent the hotel at client events, trade shows, familiarisation visits, and promotional activities.
