Job summary

YHA Australia in Byron Bay invites a proactive Guest Services All-Rounder to join our friendly team. This part-time role offers exposure to reception, housekeeping, guest activities and F&B, with development opportunities across properties.

You will contribute to a welcoming guest experience, manage reservations and stay engaged with the community. The position supports a rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Reception: Welcome guests and manage check-ins with accurate accounts and documentation.
• Guest Activities: Create and promote engaging activities for guests.
• Housekeeping: Maintain room and property standards, handle laundry and maintenance issues.
• Food & Beverage: Ensure food hygiene and service, including coffee/barista duties.
• Health & Safety: Follow YHA policies to ensure guest and staff safety.
