YHA Australia is seeking a proactive Guest Services All Rounder to support the Thredbo property. This casual, part-time role covers Reception, Housekeeping, Guest Activities and Food & Beverage, with opportunities to grow across YHA properties nationwide.

Shifts include overnights and day rotations; onsite accommodation may be available. A welcoming, flexible team player with strong guest service skills will thrive in this dynamic hospitality role.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Experience as Duty Manager, Waiter/Waitress, Events, Reception, Front of House or Housekeeper is preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office is desired.
• RSA certification and a First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain) are preferred.
• Knowledge of the local area and travel/tourism industry is beneficial.
• You must be physically fit to carry equipment and make beds.

Responsibilities

• Reception: greet guests and manage check-in with accurate account documentation.
• Guest Activities: design and promote events to engage guests.
• Housekeeping: maintain rooms to high standards; manage laundry and safety issues.
• Food & Beverage: assist with food handling; maintain hygiene standards.
• Health & Safety: follow YHA policies to ensure safety of guests and staff.
