Job summary

Regal Innovations is seeking experienced Softworks Horticulturists for an outdoors maintenance role across parks, gardens, and heritage grounds in Australia. The advertised wage ranges from AUD 27.00 to AUD 38.00 per hour plus superannuation.

You will contribute to planting, lawn care, irrigation maintenance, and site safety while delivering attractive landscapes for commercial sites. The ideal candidate holds a horticulture qualification, a valid driver’s license, and a Construction White Card,

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Horticulture (or related field).
• Demonstrated experience in softworks horticulture, commercial landscaping, or landscape maintenance.
• A current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Planting trees, shrubs, grasses, groundcovers, and seasonal plants.
• Mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, mulching, and general garden maintenance.
• Soil preparation, garden bed establishment, turf installation, and lawn maintenance.
• Installing, monitoring, and basic repairs to irrigation systems.
• Identifying plants and selecting appropriate species for site requirements.
• Interpreting landscape plans and working to project schedules.
• Diagnosing and assisting in treatment of plant deficiencies, pests, and diseases.
• Carrying out fertilising, watering, pruning, and ongoing plant care.
• Operating horticultural tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Following site management plans and safe work procedures.
• Identifying hazards, assisting with risk assessments, and reporting incidents.

Regal is looking for experienced and motivated Softworks Horticulturists to join our maintenance team. The expected wage for this role is $27.00-$38.00 per hour plus superannuation.

In this role, you'll undertake a variety of horticultural and landscape maintenance activities across commercial sites. Your role will focus on establishing and maintaining healthy, attractive landscapes while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

As a Softworks Horticulturist, you will be responsible for:

• Planting trees, shrubs, grasses, groundcovers, and seasonal plants.

Skills & Experience

• Qualifications in Horticulture (or related field).
• Demonstrated experience in softworks horticulture, commercial landscaping, or landscape maintenance.
• A current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card.
• Strong knowledge of plants, soils, irrigation systems, and seasonal maintenance practices.
• The ability to follow direction while taking ownership of your work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Committed to safe work practices and environment improvement.
• You are proactive, adaptable, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
