Job summary

Regal Innovations, Sydney-based, is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to oversee planting and grounds maintenance across parks, formal gardens and heritage grounds. You will lead a hands-on team, ensure safe, high-quality work and timely project delivery, drawing on horticultural practices and reliable landscaping equipment.

The role requires strong communication, organisation, and a passion for outdoor spaces.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture (desirable).
• Certifications in Working from Heights or Rope Access (desirable).
• A current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card.
• Proven experience in landscape leadership role or similar.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Passion for outdoor work and environment improvement.
• Commitment to WHS policies, ensuring a safe and productive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team to ensure high-quality work and efficient project execution.
• Collaborating closely with the National Maintenance Manager to deliver exceptional service to clients.
• Ensuring all projects are completed safely and in line with company safety protocols.
• Overseeing on-site landscape management, from formal gardens to parks and open spaces.
• Diagnosing and treat plant deficiencies, pest issues, and diseases.
• Managing irrigation systems, including programming and maintenance.
• Completing all necessary documentation and reporting in a timely manner.
• Utilising machinery and hand tools for mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and landscape maintenance.

Regal is looking for hands-on Maintenance Team Leaders to support all aspects of planting and grounds maintenance across multiple sites.

As a Team Leader, you will use your expertise in horticultural practices, safety protocols, and landscaping equipment to deliver successful maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
