Job summary

BlueCare in Toowoomba is seeking a Home Services Officer for a casual, part-time role within a dedicated onsite hospitality team. You will contribute to high-quality dining, cleaning, and laundry services to residents, supporting comfort, dignity, and wellbeing in a person-centred environment.

Availability is required for shifts starting early (as 6am) or finishing late (up to 8pm), with an emphasis on teamwork, hygiene, and safety. NDIA screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality, cleaning, food services experience is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to provide person-centred customer service with warmth and respect.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service according to dietary needs.
• Set up and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas.
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties across resident areas.
• Engage with residents warmly, upholding dignity and respect.
