Job summary

BlueCare in Kallangur is seeking a Home Services Officer to support residents with meals, cleaning and laundry in a friendly, person-centred way. You will help create a clean, welcoming environment and contribute to residents' wellbeing through daily services.

Casual shifts are available across mornings and afternoons; a range of penalties and allowances applies. Prior hospitality/cleaning experience is preferred, with appropriate screening as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to providing quality service.
• Understanding of food safety and infection control practices.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Clean resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Provide laundry services, caring for resident clothing and linen.
• Support residents with warm, respectful, person-centred service.
• Follow food safety, infection control and hygiene practices; work as part of the hospitality team.
