Job summary

BlueCare Caloundra Aged Care Facility is seeking a casual Home Services Officer to support dining, cleaning and laundry services for residents. Morning shifts can start as early as 6am and afternoon shifts can finish as late as 8pm, with availability clearly stated in the application questionnaire.

You will be part of the on-site hospitality team, delivering high-quality dining experiences while maintaining a safe, welcoming and person-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality, cleaning, food services or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring meals are delivered safely and meet dietary requirements.
• Set up and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas and support residents during mealtimes.
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties, including maintaining resident rooms and shared areas and caring for clothing and linen.
• Engage with residents in a warm and respectful manner, creating a positive experience.
• Deliver a high standard of hygiene and safety across all tasks.
• Support the team with daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
