Job summary

BlueCare Caloundra Aged Care Facility is seeking a casual Home Services Officer to help deliver high-quality dining, cleaning and laundry services in a safe, resident-centred environment. You will assist with meal preparation and service, maintain hygienic dining areas, support residents during mealtimes, and perform cleaning and laundry duties with care.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality, cleaning, food services or similar environment.
• Demonstrated person-centred customer service with warmth and respect.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring meals meet dietary requirements.
• Set up and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas and assist during mealtimes.
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties including resident rooms and shared areas.
• Engage with residents in a warm and respectful manner to create a positive experience.
• Deliver high standards of hygiene and safety across tasks and support daily operations.
