Job summary

BlueCare Kingaroy Aged Care Facility is seeking a Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) for casual shifts. Morning shifts can start as early as 6am and afternoon shifts can finish as late as 8pm. You will assist with meals, dining, cleaning, laundry and resident wellbeing in a welcoming environment.

You will join a hospitality team committed to person-centred service, adhere to food safety and infection control, and complete probity checks as required. Applications welcome from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Providing laundry services, including caring for resident clothing and linen.
• Following food safety, infection control and hygiene practices.
• Supporting residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service.
• Working as part of the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services.
