Job summary

BlueCare in Bundaberg Pioneer Aged Care Facility is seeking a Home Services Officer on a casual basis to deliver dining, cleaning and laundry services within a person-centred environment. You will support residents with meals, maintain dining areas and uphold hygiene standards.

This role offers flexible shifts starting as early as 6am and finishing as late as 8pm, with penalty rates and salary packaging benefits. You will join a supportive hospitality team dedicated to dignity and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality, cleaning or food service experience.
• Strong customer service mindset with warmth and respect.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring meals meet dietary requirements.
• Set up and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas and assist during mealtimes.
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties, including resident rooms and linen care.
• Engage with residents warmly to create a positive experience and ensure hygiene.
• Support daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
