Job summary

Local Group is seeking a diligent estimator/quote coordinator to turn site observations into accurate quotations for our Geelong-based projects. You will ensure the right materials, trades and schedule align to win and complete jobs efficiently, keeping customers informed throughout the process.

Ideal candidates have a trade or estimating background, strong numerical skills and excellent organisation. Experience with ServiceM8 or Quotient is a bonus, and there is room to grow as we expand.

Qualifications

• Trade, building or estimating background, or coordinating jobs in a trade business.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisation and ability to juggle multiple jobs.
• Clear communication with customers, trades, and suppliers.
• Experience with job management software; ServiceM8 or Quotient is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Build quotes across trades from site notes, photos and price books.
• Check job history before quoting and set out clear options, including a recommended one.
• Follow up quotes and convert them to booked work.
• Schedule won jobs in ServiceM8 and coordinate trades, materials and suppliers.
• Keep jobs on track and on budget, and update customers and agents.
• Work closely with supervisors and account managers to solve problems quickly.

Local Group is a growing family of home service businesses across Geelong, Ballarat, the Bellarine and Melbourne's west. We cover plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical, roofing, garage doors and renovations, and we're growing fast with a strong office team behind our trades.

The role

You'll turn site findings into clear, accurate quotes and then make sure won jobs run smoothly. That means the right materials, the right trades and the right day. It's a key role between our customers, our office and our teams in the field.

About you

• You have a trade, building or estimating background, or experience coordinating jobs in a trade business.
• You're good with numbers and pay close attention to detail.
• You're well organised and calm when juggling lots of jobs.
• You communicate clearly with customers, trades and suppliers.
• You're confident with job management software. ServiceM8 or Quotient experience is a bonus.
