Randstad Australia in Adelaide CBD is seeking a Home Assessor - Moderate Severity. This full-time, office-based role offers hybrid options post-probation and focuses on end-to-end moderate severity home insurance claims, primarily for fire and related events.

Balanced mix of technical building/restoration knowledge and solid insurance/claims experience.
Strong customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
Good negotiation and communication skills with contractors.
Comfortable using multiple digital platforms and reviewing virtual assessments.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Claim Assessment: review damage reports, photos, and scopes to determine causation and fair repair costs.
Technical Scope & Costing: evaluate repair scopes against quotes with building knowledge.
Supplier & Builder Negotiation: engage with panel builders to negotiate quality outcomes.
Project Management: track milestones virtually while ensuring safety and compliance.
Customer Care: support customers through stressful claim journeys with empathy.
