Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a compassionate Home Care Worker to provide person-centred care in Dorrigo NSW. You will offer companionship, assist with daily tasks, and help clients stay independent with dignity.

We welcome reliable individuals who can travel to Ebor and work around the client’s availability. Training and development are provided, with opportunities for sponsorship and permanent roles within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• A valid NDIS Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care.
• Valid police check, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
