Job summary

My Guardian is expanding its Home Care team in Doncaster VIC and surrounds, creating an elite pool of compassionate workers ready to provide personalized in-home care. The role focuses on companionship, daily living support, and community engagement for clients in their own homes.

We value heart, reliability and professionalism, with priority access to new client rosters and flexible scheduling. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidates, along with ongoing training and career

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic assistance, community transport, and supporting independent living.
• Excellent communication and accurate documentation for families and coordinators.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability/Individual Support is highly regarded but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Building real connections to reduce isolation and support emotional wellbeing.
• Assist with light household duties, cleaning, laundry and meal prep to keep homes safe.
• Drive clients to social activities, shopping, and essential appointments.

You won't just be checking boxes; you’ll be changing lives. Your day-to-day will focus on:

• True Companionship: Building real connections, reducing isolation, and supporting emotional wellbeing.
• Independence at Home: Personal Care, helping with light household duties, cleaning, laundry, and meal prep to keep homes safe and comfortable.
• Community Connection: Getting clients out and about—driving them to social activities, shopping, and vital appointments.

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience in Care: A solid background in domestic assistance, community transport, and supporting independent living.
• Great Communication: The ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and coordinators.
• The Essentials: A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or a willingness to obtain them quickly).
• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support is highly regarded but not mandatory if you have the right experience!
