Job summary

My Guardian is expanding its Home Care Worker team in Wedderburn VIC. You will provide compassionate, personalised in-home care, supporting clients with personal care, light household tasks, and community activities. You’ll help clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes while documenting care and coordinating with families and coordinators.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic care, community transport, and supporting independent living.
• Excellent documentation and communication with families and coordinators.
• First Aid & CPR certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Build real connections to reduce isolation and support emotional wellbeing.
• Assist with personal care, light household duties, cleaning, laundry and meal prep at clients' homes.
• Arrange transport and accompany clients to social activities, appointments and outings.

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience in Care: A solid background in domestic assistance, community transport, and supporting independent living.
• Great Communication: The ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and coordinators.
• The Essentials: A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or a willingness to obtain them quickly).
• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support is highly regarded but not mandatory if you have the right experience!
