Job summary

My Guardian is expanding in Pakenham VIC and surrounding areas, building a pool of Home Care Workers to support clients in their homes and promote independence. You’ll be part of a fast-growing team delivering compassionate, personalised care.

As a Home Care Worker, you will provide companionship, assist with daily tasks, and help clients access community activities and appointments. A Certificate III in Aged Care or related field is highly regarded but not mandatory if you have the right

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic assistance, community transport, and supporting independent living.
• Ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and coordinators.
• First Aid & CPR certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check needed (or willingness to obtain).
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support highly regarded but not mandatory if experience is strong.

What You’ll Do

You won't just be checking boxes; you’ll be changing lives. Your day-to-day will focus on:

True Companionship: Building real connections, reducing isolation, and supporting emotional wellbeing.

Independence at Home: Personal Care, helping with light household duties, cleaning, laundry, and meal prep to keep homes safe and comfortable.

Community Connection: Getting clients out and about—driving them to social activities, shopping, and vital appointments.

What You Bring to the Team

Experience in Care: A solid background in domestic assistance, community transport, and supporting independent living.

Great Communication: The ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and coordinators.

The Essentials: A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or a willingness to obtain them quickly).
