Job summary

My Guardian Group is expanding its Home Care services in Wedderburn VIC and surrounding areas and is building an elite pool of caregivers ready to start with immediate, regular hours as client rosters grow.

You’ll provide compassionate, personalized in-home care, helping clients maintain independence and dignity while staying safe at home. The role offers flexible scheduling and training opportunities as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic care, community transport, and supporting independent living.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with families and coordinators.
• Essentials: First Aid & CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check; willing to obtain quickly.
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support is highly regarded but not mandatory if experience is strong.

What You’ll Do

You won't just be checking boxes; you’ll be changing lives. Your day-to-day will focus on:

• True Companionship: Building real connections, reducing isolation, and supporting emotional wellbeing.
• Independence at Home: Personal Care, helping with light household duties, cleaning, laundry, and meal prep to keep homes safe and comfortable.
• Community Connection: Getting clients out and about—driving them to social activities, shopping, and vital appointments.

What You Bring to the Team

We value heart, reliability, and professionalism above all else. To set you up for success, you will need:

• Experience in Care: A solid background in domestic assistance, community transport, and supporting independent living.
• Great Communication: The ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and coordinators.
• The Essentials: A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or a willingness to obtain them quickly).
• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support is highly regarded but not mandatory if you have the right experience!
