Job summary

My Guardian in NSW is seeking a compassionate Carer to join a supportive team and provide person-centred care that helps clients live with dignity and independence. The role involves travelling to Cobar NSW 2835 and has casual/vacation hours with opportunities for sponsorship and permanent roles.

You will offer companionship, assist with daily tasks, monitor health changes, and maintain accurate care records.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.

Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus

A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one

Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care

Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
