HammondCare is looking for a Home Care Worker in Narooma, NSW. Join our team to provide essential care for older people, ensuring they can live independently. The position is part-time, requiring availability Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

You'll need a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable car. Experience in aged care is beneficial but not mandatory. We offer competitive pay from $31.95 to $35.44 per hour, plus travel reimbursements and extensive training opportunities.

HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in Narooma and Merimbula on a Part‑time basis. The applicant must be available Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

About the Role

You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day‑to‑day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time).

About You

• you’re a people‑person who is patient and solutions‑focused
• you have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
• you have a valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
• ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help
• you'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
