HammondCare is seeking a Home Care Worker to support older people in their own homes across the Batemans Bay region. You will work part-time or casually, visiting clients from South Durras to Bodalla, NSW, with fixed shifts from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm across Mon-Fri.

You’ll provide essential care, build relationships, and may need to travel using your own car. Training is provided, no experience required, and travel time is paid along with a mileage reimbursement.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in aged or community care is preferred or you can start your career in aged care.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a car (insured).
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support preferred.

• Assist with meal preparation and light house cleaning.

About the role

You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day‑to‑day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car (you'll be paid $1.05 per km plus paid travel time).

The care work you'll be doing may include:

• Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
• Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
• Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
• Assisting with medication

In return for your expertise, we offer:

• $32.91 to $36.50 per hour, plus paid travel time and $1.05/km reimbursement
• No experience required with comprehensive paid training and ongoing support

About you

• You're a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
• You have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
• you have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
• Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help
• You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
