Job summary

Anglicare Sydney seeks a caring Home Care Worker to support clients in their own homes across the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs and North Shore on a Permanent Part Time basis.

You will assist with daily tasks, meals, personal care, transport and social engagement, helping clients maintain independence with dignity while upholding Anglicare’s values of integrity, compassion and excellence.

Qualifications

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is required (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are highly recommended.
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy expected.
• Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance – help with household chores (washing, ironing, vacuuming, dusting).
• Meal Preparation – plan, prepare and cook meals.
• Personal Care Support – assist with showering, dressing, grooming, etc.
• Social Engagement – provide companionship and encourage community participation.
• Transport Services – arrange/offer transport for appointments and outings.

Position Overview

As a valued Home Care Worker at Anglicare based in the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore on a Permanent Part Time basis you will provide compassionate, high‑quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity.

Qualifications

Essential

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
• Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• Basic computer and smartphone literacy

Desirable

• Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
