Job summary

Anglicare Sydney in New South Wales is seeking a Carer to provide high-quality care and support to residents, assisting with daily tasks, offering companionship and emotional support to promote dignity and purpose.

You will work with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care in a nurturing environment, ensure residents' comfort, monitor their progress, and uphold their dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
• Qualifications recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility and physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care while fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the facility.

To Thrive In This Role, You Will Need

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
• All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
