Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Carer to support residents with daily tasks, dignity and emotional well-being in a compassionate, person-centred environment. You will provide personal care and companionship in a supportive team.

You will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, be able to work Monday to Thursday AM shifts, and hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance. This role offers meaningful work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
• Qualifications recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Responsibilities

As a Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will provide high quality care and support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.

• Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility and physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care while fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the facility.

What is required?

• Full, unrestricted work rights
• Available to work Monday to Thursday AM shifts
• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
• All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
