Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a compassionate Home Care Worker to support clients in their own homes across the Hawkesbury region on a casual basis. You will help with daily tasks, provide companionship, and promote independence and dignity in everyday life.

You will work as part of a supportive team, bringing empathy, reliability and good communication to every visit, with flexible hours and training opportunities available to grow your care skills.

Qualifications

• Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
• Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between client locations.
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended).
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance - Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Meal Preparation - Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
• Personal Care Support - Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Social Engagement - Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
• Transport Services - Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

As a valued Home Care Worker at Anglicare we have opportunities to work across the Hawkesbury region on a Casual Basis.

You will provide compassionate, high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity.

What's Required:
