Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Carer to support residents with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship. You will help residents live with dignity and purpose in a nurturing environment, working with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care.

Requirements include Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, 2 years’ experience preferred, and unrestricted work rights. Monday to Thursday AM shifts may be available; adherence to Australian Qualifications Framework is

Qualifications

Your opportunity

As a Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will provide high quality care and support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.

With kindness and understanding, you will:

• Provide personal careassistance, including showering, dressing,groomingandfeeding.

• Support residents with mobility and physicalassistance.

• Providecompanionship and emotional support.

• Monitor and document residents’ progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.

• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care while fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the facility.

What is required?:

• Full, unrestricted work rights

• Available to work Monday to Thursday AM shifts

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

• AnNDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.

• All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian QualificationsFramework.
