Job summary

LiveBetter is seeking Home Care Workers to support clients in Griffith, NSW. The role focuses on providing person-centered in-home care to enable independent living, including personal care, meals, transport, social support and domestic tasks.

The position offers weekend work with opportunities for upskilling and career progression, backed by a supportive leadership team and wellbeing programs. A regulated vehicle and current First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake personal care services with customers
• A caring and compassionate approach with the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, whilst enjoying a degree of responsibility
• Flexible in work hours to meet customer needs
• Fully registered and comprehensively insured vehicle available
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to travel

We have a PPT and Casual opportunity in Griffith, New South Wales for a Home Care Workers to join our dynamic team.

In Home Services support people in regional communities across New South Wales and Queensland to live better lives. We empower and support people to lead a happy and independent life, in the comfort of their own home.

What your Day-to-Day will look like

In this role, you will be invested in providing a person-centered approach to enrich the lives of our customers within their own homes. Identifying and assessing customer needs, we go above and beyond to support them in their day to day living and encourage them to exercise choice and control. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Personal care: this may include toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene, and other personal hygiene needs
• Meal Preparation: cooking, food preparation and meal planning
• Transport: transport to medical appointments, social engagements, shopping (including assisting with shopping) and other outings as required
• Social Support: welfare checks, fostering meaningful connections, offering empathetic companionship, and maintaining their connection to the community
• Domestic Assistance: duties such as (but not limited to) vacuuming, laundry, general cleaning, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, making beds, basic home, and garden maintenance
