Job summary

LiveBetter Aged Care currently has a PPT and Casual opportunity in Griffith, New South Wales for Home Care Workers to join our dedicated team. We support people in regional communities, helping them live better lives at home through person-centered care.

You will provide personal care, meal preparation, transport and social support while promoting independence. Expect flexible hours, ongoing training, and a supportive leadership team focused on wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake personal care services with customers
• Caring and compassionate communication
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Flexible in work hours to meet customer needs
• Availability of a fully registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel

Responsibilities

• Personal care: toileting, bathing, oral hygiene and other personal hygiene needs
• Meal preparation: cooking, food preparation and meal planning
• Transport to medical appointments, social engagements, shopping and outings
• Social support: welfare checks, companionship, maintaining community connections
• Domestic assistance: cleaning, laundry, ironing, bed making and basic home/garden tasks

We have a PPT and Casual opportunity in Griffith, New South Wales for a Home Care Workers to join our dynamic team.

In Home Services support people in regional communities across New South Wales and Queensland to live better lives. We empower and support people to lead a happy and independent life, in the comfort of their own home.

What your Day-to-Day will look like

In this role, you will be invested in providing a person-centered approach to enrich the lives of our customers within their own homes. Identifying and assessing customer needs, we go above and beyond to support them in their day to day living and encourage them to exercise choice and control. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Personal care: this may include toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene, and other personal hygiene needs
• Meal Preparation: cooking, food preparation and meal planning
• Transport: transport to medical appointments, social engagements, shopping (including assisting with shopping) and other outings as required
• Social Support: welfare checks, fostering meaningful connections, offering empathetic companionship, and maintaining their connection to the community
• Domestic Assistance: duties such as (but not limited to) vacuuming, laundry, general cleaning, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, making beds, basic home, and garden maintenance
