Australian Unity Limited in Southwestern Sydney seeks compassionate home carers to support Elders at home and in community.

Roles are part-time with flexible hours; pay ranges from $32.61 to $36.59 per hour plus 12% super, travel allowance of $0.92/km and paid travel time. Uniform, smartphone and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, respectful, and reliable carer with empathy and cultural awareness.
• Holds a valid Australian driver's licence and has a reliable car.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding.
• Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training.
• Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll provide trusted, respectful support to Elders helping them live safely and comfortably at home and in community.

• Help at Home:such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care:Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness:Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training

Who We’re Looking For:

• Acompassionate, respectful, and reliablecarer who brings empathy, cultural awareness and a willingness to learn
• Holds avalid Australian driver’s licenceand has areliable car
