Job summary

Australian Unity in Carlingford and surrounding areas is seeking Home Care Support Workers to assist clients in their own homes with daily tasks and personal care.

The role offers permanent Part-Time or Casual contracts, paying $32.61 to $36.59 per hour, plus 12% super, travel allowance, paid travel time, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rosters Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding, etc.
• Client Awareness: build relationships with clients and families, with ongoing support and training.
• Safety Practices: follow health and safety guidelines to keep yourself and customers safe.

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Home Care Support Workers in Carlingford and surrounding areas including - Telopea, North Parramatta, Oatlands, North Rocks, Carlingford, Eastwood, Dundas, Denistone, Ermington, Dundas Valley, Rydalmere.

Your New Role

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements

• Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
