Hiredepot is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for our builder's equipment hire operation in Melbourne’s inner east. No prior equipment experience is required as full training will be provided.

If you enjoy variety, have a customer service ethic and a hands-on, mechanically-minded approach, this is for you. You’ll deal directly with customers, handle basic hire contracts, and assist with equipment handover, loading/unloading, and site deliveries/collections using Hiredepot

We are seeking an enthusiastic "people person" to join our builder's equipment hire team in Melbourne's inner east, assisting with all aspects of customer service.

Experience with equipment is not essential - all training will be provided for a candidate willing and able to learn.

This role would suit someone with retail or hospitality experience who enjoys variety and has an interest or hobbies in mechanics and/or trades. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a strong customer service ethic.

About you:

• You have a strong customer service ethic and enjoy solving problems
• You are mechanically minded and enjoy working with your hands
• You are able to communicate vital information efficiently while maintaining a personable demeanour
• You are enthusiastic and self motivated
• You take pride in earning responsibility as part of building a meaningful career
• A current driver's licence is essential with a good record. Any other training required will be organised, paid and arranged by us for the right candidate.

Therole:

Dealing directly with customers, this important role will involve:

• Understanding and solving customer equipment needs
• Basic administration of hire contracts
• Handover of equipment including providing instructions for use
• Loading and unloading customers in the hire yard
• Assisting with preparing equipment for hire
• Delivery and collection of equipment from customer's sites (using Hiredepot vehicles - drivable on a standard car licence)

This is a full time salary position 5 days per week.
