Job summary

Prominent Hill is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to diagnose faults and keep fleet movement smooth at Prominent Hill, SA. The role offers a 2/2 FIFO roster from any capital city in Australia, with 7 days on and 7 nights on, plus 14 days off.

On-site accommodation and meals are provided. Full-time and casual options exist, with a performance bonus scheme and fortnightly pay. Strong diagnostic skills and mining equipment experience are ideal.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills.
• Experience on heavy earthmoving equipment is essential; mining experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform maintenance to keep fleet safe and productive.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on a mine-wide equipment list.
• Work with a crew on haul trucks and ancillary equipment.
