Job summary

Olympic Dam is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to service a strong fleet, including CAT loaders, graders and road trains. You’ll diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and major repairs to keep production moving safely and reliably.

The role offers a 2:2 roster, fortnightly pay, and camp facilities such as golf simulators. Full-time and casual options may apply for applicants with Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills.
• Experience on heavy earthmoving equipment (mining experience highly regarded).
• A safety first mindset and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen and Police Check.
• Full Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet including CAT 992K/G Loaders, CAT 14M/16M Graders, Scania R620 Road Trains & Belly Dump Trailers.
• Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance to keep fleet production-ready.
• Uphold safety standards and quality workmanship on all tasks.

We're on the hunt for an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to join our crew at Olympic Dam, helping keep our fleet running safely and reliably.
