Job summary

Emeco Underground is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to service CAT machinery at Olympic Dam, SA, on a 2:2 day shift roster. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and major repairs to ensure equipment availability and reliability.

The role requires CAT heavy equipment experience, a Cert III in Heavy Diesel Trade, and full Australian working rights. Benefits include a 2:2 roster, flights and accommodations provided, and strong team support.

Qualifications

• Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (Cert III) required.
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills required.
• Experience on heavy earthmoving equipment, mining experience highly regarded.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen and Police Check.
• Full Australian Working Rights required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and major repairs to keep equipment available and production-ready.
• Work on CAT equipment and related heavy machinery as part of the Olympic Dam team.
• Diagnose faults and execute repairs on loaders, haulers, dozers and excavators.

We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician who knows their way around CAT machinery to join our Olympic Dam team in South Australia on a 2:2 day shift-only roster.
