Zusammenfassung

GP Care Eaglehawk in Bendigo is seeking a System Administrator to design, secure, maintain, and optimize IT systems across clinics, including clinical software, patient data systems, servers, workstations, and communications infrastructure.

Reporting to the Director, you will manage database architecture, backups, disaster recovery, security, and vendor SLAs, while supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and SQL databases.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree or higher in IT or related field, or at least five years of relevant experience
• Experience administering databases, servers and networks in a production environment
• Sound knowledge of backup, recovery and disaster recovery planning
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory / Microsoft 365, and SQL-based databases
• Experience in network configuration, firewalls, endpoint security and performance monitoring
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to write clear policies and procedures
• Experience managing vendors and service level agreements
• Clear communication with non-technical staff, including clinicians and reception teams

Aufgaben

• Design and maintain database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries and naming conventions to ensure data accuracy
• Establish preventive maintenance of backups and recovery procedures, enforce security controls over sensitive health information
• Administer database documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures
• Test database systems and upgrades, debugging and logging
• Manage security and disaster recovery planning for clinical services
• Liaise with security vendors and monitor SLAs
• Troubleshoot server/hardware/software faults across servers and workstations
• Prepare and maintain documentation and system logs
• Ensure site design integrates components and monitor network performance
• Review current computer site to identify future network needs and enhancements
