Job summary

Scope Healthcare is seeking an IT & Clinical Systems Lead to own technology end-to-end across Melbourne clinics. You will patch servers, secure Microsoft 365, and support clinical systems like ECG/ Holter while building AI workflows to save time.

You'll lead IT strategy, manage vendors and budgets, and travel between clinics as needed. Strong AI tooling experience and healthcare IT background preferred.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on IT experience, including time as lead or sole IT person.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration, including identity, security and device management.
• Solid Windows Server skills: AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, backup and recovery.
• Working knowledge of networking and security.
• Scripting, ideally in PowerShell.
• Daily, practical use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, with automation examples.
• Experience supporting specialist business software and managing vendors.
• A current driver’s licence and a car for travel between clinics.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune and Defender).
• Run Windows Server environment with AD, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, backups and recovery.
• Oversee networks and hardware across clinic sites, plus IT support and onboarding/offboarding.
• Keep clinical systems (ECG, Holter, ultrasound, practice management) current and fast.
• Be first point of support for clinical staff and interface with vendors.
• Lead AI initiatives; build automations and AI agents to reduce repetitive work.
• Set AI guardrails for data and governance; train staff on safe usage.
• Manage vendor contracts, licences, budget, roadmaps and project delivery.
