Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a dedicated Support Officer to join the Surgery Connect team, delivering high-quality administrative support across the SCAN, patient databases and related systems.

You will optimise processes, manage data, answer inquiries by phone, email and online channels, and escalate issues in line with health policies, while building strong stakeholder relationships to support strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology used in patient-centred activities.
• Experience with database utilisation and patient management systems.
• Experience with departmental financial and administrative processes and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collate, review, input, update and retrieve data in SCAN and related databases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of systems, processes and policies for administration.
• Provide frontline customer service via phone, email and online channels.
