Job summary

Qualifications

Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
Experience in planning high-impact teaching strategies.
Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and providing feedback to students and parents.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice as part of ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities

Direct teaching of groups and individuals to achieve student outcomes.
Contribute to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
Undertake other duties as directed by the School Principal within role scope.
Engage with parents/guardians and the school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
Mentor or coach other teachers to improve practice and share expertise.
