The successful candidate will collaborate with staff and families, contribute to school-wide programs, and support student growth through evidence-based teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to integrate literacy/numeracy teaching.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring student learning and giving feedback to students/parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students and families.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflecting on practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of physical education to students and support for inclusive practices.
• Contribute to school programs and assist in curriculum development and policy alignment.
• Lead or support student assessment and use data to inform teaching decisions.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student wellbeing and engagement.
• Participate in professional learning communities and mentoring where appropriate.
