Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact of learning programs.
• Experience monitoring and assessing learning with data-informed feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with collaboration across school communities.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area.
• Undertake other teaching and organizational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
