Zusammenfassung

IAG is seeking a Risk Advisory Specialist to join a collaborative Line 2 team in Australia. Based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park, Sydney) or other major cities, you will partner with stakeholders to assess end-to-end processes, identify risks, and provide independent insights that support informed decisions.

You will deliver oversight across technology and operational environments, develop observations and recommendations, and help embed robust risk management practices across the business.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in technology risk, assurance, audit or operational risk environments.
• Confidence reviewing processes, controls and risk management practices end to end.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Experience working within financial services, consulting or other regulated industries.
• Curiosity and analytical thinking that helps uncover insights and opportunities for improvement.
• An enterprise mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience translating complex risk concepts into practical and actionable recommendations.

Aufgaben

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand end to end processes, identify key risks and provide insightful challenge that supports better decisions.
• Deliver oversight and assurance activities across technology and operational environments, assessing risks, controls and the effectiveness of risk management practices.
• Conduct targeted reviews and process assessments, developing clear observations and recommendations that drive meaningful improvement.
• Analyse risk information, trends and indicators to help form independent views on the overall risk and control environment.
• Collaborate with risk specialists and business leaders to strengthen risk frameworks, governance practices and technology risk management approaches.
• Influence and support the implementation of policies and frameworks, helping embed consistent and effective risk management across the business.
