Job summary

Are Media Pty Limited is seeking a Managing Editor - Shopping to lead the shopping content strategy across the luxury digital portfolio, driving affiliate revenue growth, audience engagement and editorial excellence.

You will translate the broader commerce strategy into high-performing editorial content, leading Shopping Editors and Content Producers, and partnering with editorial, audience and affiliate teams to expand our commerce offering across evolving digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong digital editorial experience with ability to develop/edit content that drives audience and commercial outcomes.
• Commercial and analytical acumen with understanding of affiliate marketing and SEO.
• Confident people leadership, mentoring and team development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and digital capabilities with CMS, affiliate platforms and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Shopping Editors and Content Producers, fostering creativity and high-performance culture.
• Drive affiliate revenue growth through commercially focused shopping content plans and performance optimization.
• Champion editorial excellence and innovation with SEO/AI-driven content strategies.
• Collaborate with editorial, audience and affiliate teams to identify new opportunities and maximize engagement and revenue.
