Job summary

Are Media Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Senior Account Manager - Affiliate to grow our affiliate and ecommerce business. You will connect leading retailers and brands with our highly engaged audiences and report to the Head of Shopping & Affiliate.

You’ll drive new business, strengthen partnerships and create innovative, performance-led commerce opportunities, combining commercial instincts with Are Media’s trusted content and brands to shape our next phase of commerce growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in account management, partnerships or digital media sales.
• Proven ability to win new business and grow client relationships.
• Strong communication, pitching and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pitch and secure retail and ecommerce partnerships that grow affiliate revenue.
• Build and grow strategic relationships with brands, retailers and agencies.
• Develop high-impact commerce campaigns with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and optimise performance using campaign insights and mentor junior staff.

The Role

As Senior Account Manager - Affiliate at Are Media, you’ll play a key role in growing our affiliate and ecommerce business, connecting leading retailers and brands with our highly engaged audiences.

Reporting to the Head of Shopping & Affiliate, you’ll drive new business, grow strategic partnerships and create innovative, performance-led commerce opportunities. Combining your commercial instincts with Are Media’s trusted content and brands, you’ll help shape the next phase of our commerce growth.

What you’ll be doing

• Drive new business by identifying, pitching and securing retail and ecommerce partnerships that grow affiliate and commerce revenue.
• Build and grow strategic relationships with brands, retailers, agencies and affiliate networks, negotiating commercial agreements and unlocking new opportunities.
• Develop high-impact commerce campaigns in collaboration with Shopping, Content and Sales teams, leveraging audience insights, seasonal events and retail trends.
• Lead and optimise performance by using campaign insights to maximise partner investment, identify growth opportunities and mentor junior team members.
  

About you

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Significant experience in account management, partnerships, digital media sales or a similar commercially focused role.
• A proven ability to win new business, grow client relationships and turn commercial opportunities into revenue.
• Strong communication, pitching and negotiation skills, with the confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• A collaborative, results-driven mindset, with strong commercial instincts and experience mentoring others. Exposure to affiliate marketing, ecommerce or digital publishing is a bonus.
