Job summary

PX Resources Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks a Head of Risk & Compliance to lead and reshape the function as the business grows. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to embed risk considerations into strategy, product decisions and commercial outcomes.

You will build and develop the team, strengthen the risk framework, oversee AML/CTF and financial crime obligations, and drive process improvements through technology and automation.

Qualifications

• Senior risk and/or compliance experience within payments or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and AML/CTF.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop teams.
• Ability to influence executives and balance strategy with execution.
• Interest in leveraging technology and automation to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Risk & Compliance function across the business
• Review and strengthen the risk and compliance framework
• Lead and develop the existing team
• Provide practical advice to senior leadership
• Support regulatory, AML/CTF and financial crime obligations
• Oversee operational and enterprise risk
• Drive remediation and process improvements
• Improve operating model through technology, AI and automation
• Provide reporting to senior management and the Board
