PX Resources is partnering with a growing Australian technology business to recruit a stand-alone Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance in Sydney. The role covers regulatory compliance, privacy, consumer protection, product governance and operational compliance.

You will own the compliance function, work with senior leadership, build frameworks and reporting, and shape how compliance operates across the organisation. Flexible four-day arrangement available for the Senior role.

PX Resources is partnering with a growing Australian technology business to recruit a stand alone Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance.

The business operates across software, mobile telecommunications and connected services and is going through a significant period of growth and transformation.

The Opportunity & Role Coverage

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded compliance professional totake ownership of the compliance function, work closely with senior leadership and help shape how compliance operates across the business.

This is a broad, hands-on role covering regulatory compliance, privacy, consumer protection, product governance and operational compliance.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Building and improving compliance frameworks, policies, controls and reporting.
• Managing regulatory obligations, compliance issues and emerging risks.
• Partnering with Product, Technology, Mobile, Customer Experience and other business teams.
• Supporting new products, partnerships and business initiatives from a compliance perspective.
• Working with external legal advisers while developing stronger internal compliance capability.

The business already has external legal support and an established compliance obligations matrix. The opportunity is to build on that foundation and make compliance more structured, practical and embedded across the organisation.

About you

We're open to considering two types of candidates:

• Compliance Manager/Senior Manager ready to step into a broader role with greater ownership, autonomy and senior stakeholder exposure, full time, circa $160K to $180K package
• Senior Compliance Manager/Head of Compliance who enjoys working in a smaller business and is interested in a flexible four-day arrangement, circa $200K to $230K package pro rata

• Compliance Manager/Senior Manager ready to step into a broader role with greater ownership, autonomy and senior stakeholder exposure, full time, circa $160K to $180K package
• Senior Compliance Manager/Head of Compliance who enjoys working in a smaller business and is interested in a flexible four-day arrangement, circa $200K to $230K package pro rata

Ideally, you'll bring experience across technology, telecommunications, digital platforms or another regulated environment.

More importantly, we're looking for someone who is commercially minded, proactive, has good judgement and is comfortable working independently. You'll need to enjoy getting involved in the detail, building processes and working directly with the business to get things done.
