RIVA Recruitment - Australia assists a well-known Australian fund manager in Sydney to appoint a Head of Retail Distribution. The role is to deliver the intermediary sales strategy, drive profitable growth, and manage significant client relationships across multiple geographies.

You will lead a six-person team covering Intermediary, High Net Worth, and research-house relationships, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and capital raising.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in funds distribution, with a track record of growth.
• Strong network across intermediaries, HNW, and research houses.
• Degree in finance or related field; post-graduate qualifications preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth: Develop sustainable sales and revenue growth pipeline and achieve targets.
• Team Leadership: Oversee a six-person team across multiple geographies.
• Relationship Management: Manage development and retention of key client relationships.
• Channel Development: Lead multi-channel strategy and partnerships.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with investment, product, and marketing teams.
• Market Analysis: Provide insights on market developments to inform strategy.
