Job summary

Our client, a dynamic and award-winning private credit firm, is seeking an experienced and highly-networked Head of Distribution to drive the next phase of their capital raising and business expansion.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth, founder-led firm with a compelling product offering and a strong market presence on major investment platforms. You will be instrumental in expanding this employer's investor base, leveraging your existing networks, and positioning yourself for potential equity ownership in the future.

The Role: Head of Distribution

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the face of our client's capital raising efforts, leading all investor relationship and distribution activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capital Acquisition: Proactively leverage your existing relationships with key investor networks, including Direct HNW Investors,Wealth Managers, Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), and Family Offices, to drive net new fund inflows.
• Investor Relations:
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert new sources of investor capital.
  • Manage and deepen relationships with existing investors.
  • Oversee all inbound investor Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
• Fund Marketing:
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality marketing and information collateral.
  • Organize, coordinate, and manage marketing events to promote our client's funds (e.g., in conjunction with the MD's regular public media appearances).

What You'll Bring

• Proven, demonstrable, and current relationships with Wealth Managers, Direct HNW Investorsand/or Family Offices in the Australian market is essential
• Ideally experienced in selling private assets (such as private credit, private equity, or private real estate) to wholesale investors or wealth managers
• A strong track record of successful capital raising and distribution within the financial services sector
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior executive level and manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
