Job summary

Sodexo Australia is seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure works in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. The role oversees a multi-site program valued in excess of $200M, guiding a team of ~30 employees and partners toward safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering major project portfolios within construction, infrastructure, or resources.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior project or program management leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale project budgets, forecasting, and contract performance.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across dispersed operations.
• Strong understanding of project controls, governance, risk management, procurement, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution and delivery of a substantial project portfolio across multiple sites.
• Lead a team of direct reports and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.
• Establish robust governance, reporting structures and portfolio controls.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, cash flow, and commercial performance.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with contractual and legislative requirements.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships and provide executive level reporting.
