AA Appointments is sourcing an Operations Manager to lead a brand-new Sydney CBD quick-service restaurant. You will own pre-opening, launch, and ongoing daily operations, building a high-performing team and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage P&L, labour costs and food costs, recruit and train staff, and lead in a fast-paced opening environment. NSW Food Safety Supervisor certification is required, with five days per week availability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Operations Manager in a high-volume, quick-service environment.
• Experience opening a new restaurant from pre-opening to trading.
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&L, wage mgmt, food costs and budgets.
• Experience recruiting, rostering, training and developing teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to juggle priorities.
• Hands-on leadership with focus on customer service excellence.
• Current NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Available five days a week.

Responsabilités

• Lead pre-opening and launch, ensuring a successful grand opening.
• Recruit, onboard and train opening team to high performance.
• Establish supplier relationships, ordering procedures and stock management.
• Set up POS systems, rosters and operational processes.
• Lead from the front during opening weeks and manage daily ops.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth service.
• Coach and motivate team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Monitor wages, food costs and COGS; manage budgets.
